CDM First Organizing Committee members pose for posterity before
they elect the CDM First Nominating Committee
Cavite Adventist Mission (CDM) elects its first set of directors and associates, and members of Executive Committee (EXCOM) through the Nominating Committee organized at the First Constituency Meeting. Satisfying one of the purposes of a constituency meeting, the CDM Constituency Meeting, through its Nominating Committee, successfully put people in capacities that will help carry out the plans and programs of CDM leadership and membership.
Those chosen to
lead and supervise the departments of the Church consist of the following:
Gavenia, Ministerial secretary, and director of Sabbath School, Personal
Ministries, Global Mission/IEL;
Gatus, director of Youth Ministries, Health Ministries, and Communication;
Hintay, director of Women Ministries, Family Ministries, Children’s Ministries,
and Music Ministries;
associate director of Education;
associate director of Publishing Ministries/SOP;
Bacdayan, director of Stewardship;
Canosa, director of Human Resources, PARL, and Legal;
Josue F. Fofue,
Jr., director of ADRA.
CDM First Executive Committee officers and members signify their
intention to serve at all cost.
elected members of the Executive Committee (EXCOM) compose the following: Dr.
Francisco Gayoba, Adventist University of the Philippines (AUP) president;
Pastor Rodel Arandia, field pastors representative; Blessie Mangcoy, Cluster 1
lay representative; Norman Anacay, Cluster 2 lay representative; and Lolit
Francisco, Cluster 3 lay representative.
Members of the 10-member historic first CDM Nominating Committee are NPUC president Pastor Romeo Mangiliman, chair; Jonie Romblon (Cluster 1 lay representative), Pastor Ebenezer Monzales (Cluster 1 pastor representative), Norman Anacay (Cluster 2 lay representative), Pastor Rodel Arandia (Cluster 2 pastor representative), Roger Taguba (Cluster 3 lay representative), Pastor Ramel Villamor (Cluster 3 pastor representative), Eduardo Mangoba (teacher representative), Luisito Ambat (office worker representative), and Danilo Matira (literature evangelist representative). They were chosen by the 10-member historic first CDM Organizing Committee by drawing their names from the boxes used in the election for the Organizing Committee.
Meanwhile, serving the Organizing Committee were NPUC executive secretary Pastor Nelson De Chavez, chair; Arlyn Mangcoy (Cluster 1 lay representative), Pastor Collin Brian Aguilar (Cluster 1 pastor representative), Noel Aviles (Cluster 2 lay representative), Pastor Albert Soltero (Cluster 2 pastor representative), Lolit Francisco (Cluster 3 lay representative), Pastor Alfredo Moredas, Jr. (Cluster 3 pastor representative), Elaine Liwanag (teacher representative), Aurea Bacdayan (office worker representative), and Sarah Canadilla (literature evangelist representative). They were chosen by the body by drawing their names from the boxes used for the purpose.
In another development, the Organizing Committee also elected members of the CDM Operating Policy Committee tasked to review and recommend appropriate provisions to the policy. Members were NPUC executive secretary Pastor Nelson De Chavez, chair; CDM executive secretary Pastor June Canosa; one member from SSD; Atty. Giselle Fugoso; Rebecca Talon, Binakayan; Noel Francisco, Addas; and Norman Anacay, Maragondon.
